Cook with liquid. This pan is not suitable for dry cooking. Always use oil, butter or liquid in the pan before you start cooking. Grease the edges. Your enamelled cast iron pan does not need to be fully greased like a traditional cast iron pan. However, there is a thin strip of exposed cast iron along the edge of the body and lid that needs to be greased to protect the surface. Suitable for all types of hobs – electric, gas, glass ceramic, halogen and induction. Not suitable for dishwasher.
