Duralex tempered glass is 2.5 times stronger than ordinary glass, impact- and chip-resistant, and designed to withstand temperature extremes from -20C to 100C. If broken, it shatters into small, safer pieces. The glass is nonporous, lead- and cadmium-free, BPA-free, and hygienic, resisting absorption of liquids.
